[WATCH] ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ First Trailer – Can Fans Expect Graphic Scenes Similar to the Book?

"Fifty Shades of Grey" fans, the long wait is over... at least for the official and genuine trailer of the E.L. James' novel that has captured the hearts of many.

After Beyoncé dropped a sexy teaser clip about her involvement in the movie on July 19, the trailer for the first installment of the "Fifty Shades" trilogy has finally been released by Universal, Forbes has learned.

The steamy two and a half minutes long clip debuted early morning on "The Today Show," and it has caused a huge buzz on the Internet since.

In the trailer, Christian, played by model-actor Jamie Dornan, could be heard telling Dakota Johnson's Anastasia, "I'm incapable of leaving you alone." To which, Ana responds, "Then don't."

For the most part of the clip, a noticeably awkward Anastasia is seen, exchanging glances with Christian and deciphering the profound stares of the titular character.

"I don't do romance. My cases are very singular, you wouldn't understand," Christian tells Ana. And as per the storyline in the novel, Ana answers, "Enlighten me."

The big question now is whether the movie will be as graphic as the novel, and based on what we have seen so far, there is a big potential that the flick will be as intense as the back after seeing that part where Christian slips his hand up Ana's skirt under the table.

Throughout the two minutes or so, Beyoncé Knowles' different rendition of "Crazy in Love," which she debuted on Instagram, could be heard playing.

Originally scheduled to be released next week, the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie adaptation could have gone head-to-head against Walt Disney's "Guardians of the Galaxy."

However, because of the big lead role change after "Pacific Rim" actor Charlie Hunnam ditched the movie for the final season of "Sons of Anarchy" and "Pacific Rim 2," the film's release was moved to February 13, 2015 - in time with the most romantic day of the year.

Following the release of the theatrical trailer of the first "Fifty Shades" installment, critics have come out to claim that the release of such a film will likely lead to a social event among women.

"I could see groups of women getting together, close friends, making it a girlfriends night out," Lynn Comella, a gender studies professor at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, told Today.

"My guess - and this is speculative because obviously the film isn't out yet - is that the film will do well," Comella, who believes that the explicit scenes will appeal to female fans, gushed. "I think people who read the books, and enjoyed them... will be the first ones in line."
