Camilla Thurlow: Just The Girl Next Door?

After being spotted with one of Britain's royal princes, the media and public interests are now on former beauty queen, Camilla Thurlow. Fans and followers of the royalties were crazy on getting to know the recent woman who is dating and have captured the heart Prince Harry. The limelight is on Camilla Thurlow. Who is she? Is really just your ordinary girl next door?

As news is spreading on Prince Harry's current lady love, Camilla Thurlow stirs public interests on her own private life. This stunning 25-year old brunette beauty, Camilla Thurlow, who bears a striking resemblance to Prince Harry's sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, is no blue blood or royalty. In fact she is just your ordinary girl next door or simply a commoner.

Camilla Heather Thurlow was born on July 9, 1989 in Dumfries, Scotland. In 2007, she graduated from Fettes College. Camilla Thurlow then earned First Class honors degree in Sports and Exercise Science at Loughborough University.    

Camilla Thurlow stands 5 feet three inches tall and a former beauty queen. She was tagged as the "ordinary girl next door" for being a commoner and for working as an assistant manager at Abercrombie and Fitch.

The girl next door, Camilla Thurlow played in the U18 East district hockey team and was a member of the 2006 and 2007 O17 Scottish Schools 4x100 relay champions team. When Camilla Thurlow joined the Miss Earth Pageant, she cited that her proudest moment was playing and representing Scotland in the U19 World Lacrosse Championships in 2007 in Canada. She also captained the three girls major and was awarded the Player of the Year award for Hockey, the Agnew Quiach for contribution to lacrosse and the Sutcliffe Cup for the Outstanding Sportswoman of the Year. Camilla Thurlow is indeed a huge sports enthusiast.   

Sports played a major role in the life of this girl next door. Camilla Thurlow is actively playing hockey, lacrosse and squash. She was also a school choir member and performed in the play "Steel Magnolias". Camilla Thurlow found herself to be lucky enough to go on many Outward Bound courses and she completed the skill element of her Duke of Edinburgh Gold for having completed the expedition on canoeing in Loch Ness.

Camilla Thurlow is also a certified philanthropist. Her current involvement with The Halo Trust, Princess Diana's favorite charity, involves acting as a project officer in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Camilla Thurlow joined the Halo Cambodia program as Projects Officer in July 2013 after completing familiarization training in Sri Lanka.

Camilla Thurlow's main ambition per her statement in Miss Earth Pageant is to always try and enjoy life and get as much out of it as she can and to be happy - a very simple wish for the woman that has captured the heart of Prince Harry. She may be just the girl next door for some but never just ordinary.
