Chelsea Handler Putin Photos: Comedienne Posts Nude Pics To Support Gender Equality And Gets Into Row With Instagram [PHOTOS]

Chelsea Handler Putin photos - The famous comedienne has accused Instagram of sexism after the site repeatedly deleted a topless photo of her, which was posted in support of gender equality.

On Thursday, Chelsea Handler posted a photo of herself on a horseback striking a pose that is glaringly similar to one in a similar photo of Russian President Vladamir Putin. Next to the image, she wrote, "Anything a man can do, a woman has the right to do better. #kremlin."

But Instagram took down the Chelsea Handler Putin photos in only 20 minutes. The site reportedly forwarded a message to the multi-talented TV personality to inform her that the post was deleted "because it doesn't follow our Community Guidelines."

But the activist was not satisfied with the treatment she received from the company. According to Washington Post, she posted the photo once again, warning that "Taking this down is sexist. I have every right to show I have a better body than Putin."

But the Chelsea Handler Putin photo was taken down once again. The Comedienne responded by sharing a screen grab of the photo on Twitter. But not before arguing that "If a man posts a photo of his nipples, it's ok, but not a woman? Are we in 1825?"

She later posted a photo of her dogs, with a message saying "You can now find my dogs and my breasts on Twitter only where my followers have the right to choose what they say. Bye bye instablock."

The Chelsea Handler Putin photos incident is reportedly an extension of an ongoing campaign to end the popular photo sharing site's restriction on female nudity. Several renowned personalities, including Rihanna, Scout Willis, Grace Coddington and Kendall Jenner have also had their photos deleted from Instagram because the site deemed them to be a violation of its guidelines.

The Chelsea Handler Putin photos have opened a new chapter in the ongoing debate. According to pundits, Instagram risks losing some of its subscribers if it doesn't cower to their demands.
