Princess Madeleine Pregnant Again?! Swedish Royals To Celebrate Two Memorable Events In 2015

Princess Madeleine Pregnant - It seemed that the Swedish royal family will be celebrating two memorable events this 2015 as Prince Carl Philip will marry his fiancée in June while Princess Madeleine is expected to give birth to another heir or heiress around the same time.

Princess Madeleine of Sweden is again pregnant with her second child just ten months after from giving birth to daughter Princess Leonore. The 32-year-old Swedish royal announced the good news on Friday, Dec. 19 through an official Facebook post.

"It makes me so happy to share the wonderful news that Chris and I are expecting our second child!" the princess happily announced on Facebook.

While O'Neill, who did not take a royal title after marrying the Swedish princess to maintain his American citizenship, also released a statement that expresses his happiness and excitement his Princess Madeleine's pregnancy.

"We are very happy and look forward to welcoming a new member to our family," O'Neill said via a statement.

Recently in royal kingdoms, it seemed that Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, is not the only one with a baby bump. And Princess Madeleine's pregnancy news came after Princess Charlene of Monaco welcomed her twins on Dec. 10. The majestic royals are indeed giving birth to future heirs and heiresses of their respective monarchies.

Princess Madeleine, who is the daughter of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silva, married her 40-year-old British-American banker husband Christopher O'Neill in New York in June 2013, Us Weekly reported. The royal couple met in 2010 through mutual friends and in January 2011, they were first publicly seen on a date at the Boathouse restaurant inside Central Park.

On Saturday night, for the first time since Princess Madeleine announced that she is pregnant, the Swedish royal along with her husband made a public appearance at the Swedish Academy formal gathering held at Stockholm's Stock Exchange, as reported by Hello magazine. At the event, Princess Madeleine was also joined by her parents and her siblings Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Carl Philip, who is set to marry fiancée Sofia Hellqvist on June 13, 2015.

Princess Madeleine, who is fourth in line to the Swedish Royal Court, is expected to give birth around the same time that brother, Prince Carl Philip will marry his former model fiancée, Sydney Morning Herald stated. Currently, Princess Madeleine is thought to be three months pregnant.

Meanwhile, Madeleine's first-born child Royal Highness Leonore Lilian Maria of Sweden, Duchess of Gotland is the fifth in line to the throne, E! News reported. And according to The Daily Mail, she was born on Feb. 20, in New York's Weill Cornell Medical Center.

Royal Highness Madeleine Therese Amelie Josephine, Princess of Sweden, Duchess of Halsingland and Gastrikland, or simply Princess Madeleine is living in New York with her husband. She works for the World Childhood foundation, Queen Silva's non-profit organization.

The announcement that Princess Madeleine is pregnant was made early in avoidance of speculations to overshadow an official royal function the Swedish royals were expected to attend over the weekend.
