Amanda Peet Game Of Thrones: Amanda Peet Told Co- Creator Husband That The Game Of Thrones Would Flop

Amanda Peet Game Of Thrones - Actress Amanda Peet, wife of David Benioff, one of the co-creators of the hit TV series Game Of Thrones initially thought that the internationally successful drama would flop, because it was a stupid idea.

Amanda Peet made the revelation of her bad judgment on Monday on Conan O'Brien's chat show, when the host asked the 43-year-old actress what she really told her husband when he first told her about the idea for the Game Of Thrones.

Anticipating the reaction of the audience, Amanda Peet said "Yes, I thought it was a terrible idea." "Terrible. Just silly. Dungeons and dragons but with real people."

Her revelation comes as millions around the world eagerly wait for Season 5 of the award-winning HBO series Game Of Thrones, which is scheduled to air on April 12.

Host Conan initially agreed with Amanda Peet on her initial reaction to the series- "First of all I'm on your side on this because if someone pitched me the idea for a lot of shows if I just heard the idea I would say I don't think that sounds great. Then you see that amazing cast the great stories, the story telling-I am on your side."

However, Amanda Peet was quick to add that she had since seen the error of her judgment and she is now literally 'obsessed' with the Game Of Thrones.

Amanda Peet and David Benioff have been married since 2006. They have three children. Benioff co-created the super hit drama series with D. B. Weiss.

The Game Of Thrones, which is an adaptation of George R. R. Martin's fantasy novel series, A Song of Ice and Fire, has won several awards including, the An Emmy and A Critic's Choice Television Award.
