Ryan Ross TO REPLACE Zayn Malik In 1D? Directioners Go Berserk Over Rumors That Panic! At The Disco Member Joins The Band!

OMG! Is Ryan Ross joining One Direction after Zayn Malik's exit? While Directioners are still upset over Malik's decision to leave the band, they are also bombarding social media with their shocked reactions over Malik's replacement.

One Directions fans literally went berserk after rumors circulated that Panic! At The Disco member Ryan Ross will be replacing Malik as the newest member of the pop British boy band. However, Hollywood Life reported the news was all a "hoax." The celeb news site added someone is just poking fun on distraught 1D fans.

According to the rumor, which was a quick edit on One Direction's Wikipedia page, the band is having a new member. And it's Ryan Ross, the former guitarist for the pop rock group, Panic! At The Disco.

The rumor has turned One Direction's legions of fans to believe that Ryan Ross is actually joining the band, which resulted to a Twitter uproar, Alternative Press revealed. 1D fans took their complaints to Twitter expressing their sentiments that they don't want Malik to be replaced.

"WTF IS RYAN ROSS WHY IS THIS TEARING MY HEART #AlwaysInOurHeartsZaynMalik," Twitter user @beautyhastings captioned her screenshot of the altered Wikipedia page. While another fan wrote, "Ryan ross whoever u r i dont want u joinin one direction jst no (sic)."

While some fans are reacting quite negatively, others seemed to be unaware that Ryan Ross is a former Panic! At The Disco member.

"WHO IS RYAN ROSS?" @MissyMinecraft tweeted. @hestmh also posted, "@onedirection Who is Ryan Ross and why is now apart of the band. I do not like this decision."

Ryan Ross, who left Panic! At The Disco in 2009 to form his own band, The Young Veins, responded to the tweets of 1D fans.

"You guys got it all wrong, the four remaining members of One Direction are joining MY band," he jokingly tweeted.

Meanwhile, in light of the recent events, 1D's Liam Payne has an important thing to say.

"For the past five years now I've been part of something so special I don't think any of us really understand, something that can mean the world to people and put a smile on the face of our fans even in the darkest times..." Payne stated.

He also wrote that last week has been a worst time for the band, adding that they too were deeply saddened by the sudden turn of events.

"It's sad to think for the time being we won't grace the stage as five bros or have the same fun on a tour bus or laughs in a hotel together that we have over the years but I'm super sure us and zayn will always remain the closest friends," he continued.

"I guess what I'm really trying to say is it's far from over," Liam concluded his statement. "When we very 1st became successful we all agreed that one direction had become much bigger than each individual member that's why I feel like right now it's ok to be sad and upset but I do ask everyone who is a fan of us to please keep ur faith in us I'm sure there's a lot more to come all love, Liam."

After 1D fans' social media reactions, do you still think Ryan Ross will replace Zayn Malik?
