Carrie Underwood’s Son, A Future NHL Player? Former ‘AI’ Alum Reveals First Ever Baby Photo On Instagram [SEE PHOTOS]

Over the weekend, first-time mom Carrie Underwood shared an adorable photograph of her son on her Instagram account. Underwood and her professional hockey player husband Mike Fisher welcomed their first-born son Isaiah Michael Fisher on Feb. 27, 2015.

Just a month ago, Carrie Underwood became a mom for the first time. Though the 32-year-old "American Idol" alum has yet to give the world a glimpse of her cute baby boy, she finally ended the mystery on Sunday. According to the Daily Mail, the country singer posted a picture of her son with a mini Nashville Predator hockey stick while in a slumber.

"The Predators are in the playoffs! Just waiting to get called up! #PutMeInCoach," Underwood captioned the adorable Instagram snapshot.

Nashville Predator hockey franchise, which is the current team of Underwood's husband and her son's dad, Mike Fisher, is one of the teams in the National Hockey League (NHL) that has clinched a playoff spot.

Meanwhile, Carrie Underwood was eagerly waiting for her baby's arrival ever since the time she knew she was pregnant. People revealed the "Jesus Take The Wheel" songstress was already ready to embrace motherhood.

"It really is such a miracle and such a beautiful thing," the Grammy Award-winning singer said in February. While Underwood's 34-year-old husband, NHL pro-player Mike Fisher, also opened up about fatherhood.

"We're definitely blessed to have him join us in our lives. There's no better feeling," the NHL athlete said.

Carrie Underwood and her husband kept the privacy of their parenthood experiences. However, Us Weekly shared that prior to Sunday's adorable Instagram pic, the "I'll Stand By You" singer had already shared her on-month-old son's hand right after giving birth.

"Tiny hands and tiny feet...God has blessed us with an amazing gift! Isaiah Michael Fisher - born on February 27. Welcome to the world, sweet angel!" she wrote on the photo-sharing site.

Even though her pregnancy was a wonderful thing that happened, Carrie Underwood is ready to take control of her body again. The mom-of-one said she's looking forward in reclaiming her body.

"I'm looking forward to reclaiming my body," she said. "I've been saying it's been on loan for the past many months. I'm excited to take it back!"

Meanwhile, Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher, who met in 2008, got engaged in 2009 and eventually married in July 2010, are now enjoying the joys of parenthood. And as they welcomed their son, who knows he may follow his father's footsteps and be a future NHL athlete.
