'Scream' Star Neve Campbell To Join Netflix's 'House of Cards' Next Season

Who doesn't remember Neve Campbell? 

She was one of the stars in the popular film "Scream" in 1996.  Campbell is also one of the major stars of the award winning show, "Party of Five." She's now the newest cast member of Netflix's popular show "House of Cards."

Although Campbell's role for the show is still not known, TIME reported that she's already shooting Season 4. There had been many speculations about Campbell's role, but many believe that Season 4 will introduce a "new and younger power couple," one that can rival Frank and Claire Underwood. 

According to Express, it is very possible that Campbell's character will aspire to become the new First Lady. 

Michael Dobbs, the creator and producer of the show, told Express that fans of the show can expect "more wickedness" for Season 4, but he offered no additional information on what will happen [SPOILER ALERT!] to Frank after the tragic split from Claire. The fans of the show think that Frank and Claire are still going to be married just to keep up with appearances, but it is going to be on the rocks.

Also last season, Doug managed to get inside's Frank radar, so there's a possibility that Doug and Frank are going to be partners again. More scheming and manipulation is sure to happen.

Campbell's role in the "House of Cards" is a big commitment for her. She is also busy doing the second season of NBC's comedy series "Welcome to Sweden."

Neve Campbell was born in Ontario and after the success of Scream, she decided to leave "Party of Five"in 2000 because she wants to focus on doing movies. She did a couple of movies from different genres proving her versatility.

"House of Cards" Season 4 is set to air in 2016.
