‘Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice’ [FIRST LOOK]: New Photos Hint Intensely Epic Superhero Showdown!

DC Comics fans might be freaking out right now after a new set of photographs from the much-anticipated "Superman" sequel titled, "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice," emerged on social media. The latest photos were posted on Twitter by Entertainment Weekly.

The newly released "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" photographs will definitely make avid fans lust over actors Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill, who will play the roles of Batman and Superman respectively. According to Firstpost.com, some shots will bring back nostalgic scenes from "The Dark Knight Rises" particularly the black-tie, ballroom set up of Affleck and Gal Gadot sans their super-suits as Bruce Wayne and Diana Pryce.

Other snaps include people fawning over their new God, Superman and Batman with a Bat Signal in the pouring rain. A photo of Lex Luthor, who will be portrayed by long-haired Jesse Eisenberg can also be seen. But the debut of Gadot's photos as Wonder Woman surely left all fans baffled, San Jose Mercury News noted. Will she have a much bigger role in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" than what was previously thought?

Another interesting feat in this upcoming DC Comics film will be the appearance of Jason Momoa's Aquaman. As per Entertainment Weekly, "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" will be a superhero marathon and an ultimate showdown that will give Mayweather-Pacquiao's "Fight of the Century" last May a run for their money.

Meanwhile, Zack Snyder's upcoming superhero throwdown is already so detailed that fans won't need an official synopsis of any kind.

"Fearing the actions of a god-like superhero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs," "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" the synopsis read. "And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before."

Even though the synopsis is undeniably not the most descriptive breakdown all fans could hope for, it does provide the comprehensive strokes that the script will use.

Seeing the photos definitely escalated the excitement on the upcoming DC Marvel movie, "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice," which will hit theaters on March 25, 2016. Hopefully, the movie will live up to the viewers' expectations just like how the superheroes looked intense in their photos.
