Jeremy Lin News: Finds A Home; Charlotte Hornet Point Guard Finally Dating?

Things had been quite hard for Jeremy Lin over the past couple of NBA seasons. He had been tossed around a few times, but he may have found a new home with Charlotte Hornets.

In February 2012, Lin was with New York Knicks and he was at his best — shot 18 times averaging at 15.4 points with 8.4 assists and 2.1 steals. The entire team adjusted to his style and in no time, Knicks was back on full strength.

Unfortunately, the "Linsanity" period ended. The injury that happened before the play-offs ended Lin's season.

Houston Rockets and Los Angeles Lakers took him in. He did well in those teams, but his numbers were down.

Lin revealed, during his visit at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, that the past year was possibly the toughest of his life. His Christian faith helped him face those challenges, CP Entertainment reported.

Lin is now getting ready for the Hornets, his third team in four years. Although expectations from him are low at this point, his new coach and the entire team remain positive.

Lin will be used the same way he was during his "Linsanity" period. However, this may be the last chance for him to redeem himself.

Meanwhile, Xu Dongdong, who's rumored to be dating Lin, confirmed in late June that they have no relationship. She says she loves watching him play, and she's a fan.

The mainland model did not know how the dating rumors started. Yahoo News learned that Xu and Lin were introduced to each other by a common friend.

She added that she wanted to know him better. It seems that the actress is keeping her options open, and that isn't bad.

Lin also confirmed that he is single and not dating anybody. He had been quiet of his personal life, but a friend of his from Harvard told GQ three years ago that the player had a girlfriend in college.

His friend also spilled something sweet about Lin when it comes to making up for his mistakes.

"Jeremy forgot to make reservations on Valentine's Day once, and had to save the day with some homemade chicken parm," his friend told the magazine.

At the time, his friend even gushed how helpful Lin was, saying: "We walk past this homeless guy, and I would've just ignored him. But [Jeremy] goes up to him and asks, 'Hey man, what do you want?' And he gets him a double-double and an order of fries."
