'Avengers 3: Infinity War' Cast UPDATE: Will Aaron Taylor-Johnson's Quicksilver Rise Up From The Dead? Plus George R.R. Martin's Controversial Comment Against Marvel Villains

There seems to be no shortage of superhero flicks every year. By 2018, "Avengers 3: Infinity Wars" will grace the big screen.

This year saw Marvel's "Avengers: Age of Ultron," with Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, The Hulk, Hawkeye and Black Widow battling out the evil forces. New characters were introduced as well, such as the mutant twins Pietro Maximoff aka Quicksilver and Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch.

As per Yahoo! Movies the Maximoff twins were actually offsprings of Magneto. The two made their debut in "X-Men" #4 comics (March 1964) and later joined in "Avengers" #16 comics (May 1965). Scarlet Witch's ability is to manipulate likeliness and reality through her spell or curse, while Quicksilver's talent is to think and move at rapid speeds.

In "Avengers: Age of Ultron," Quicksilver was hit by a dozen or more bullets in a tearjerker moment at the ending of the movie. The question in every fans' minds now — Is Quicksilver really dead?

A report from Movie News Guide detailed that actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson who played Quicksilver shed some deets on his character to Cinema Blend, and why his death was importantly featured at the climax of the film.

He said, "It really gives (the movie) sort of an emotional twist to it. A surprise."

"It's (the) Marvel universe. There was a costume designed for whether... if I didn't (die). Which was f—g really cool. I was like, 'Oh my God,'" Taylor-Johnson continued.

Does that mean viewers will get to see Quicksilver rise from the dead on "Avengers 3: Infinity Wars?" Rumors have circulated that director Joss Whedon has plans to resurrect one of the characters who was apparently written off in "Avengers 2: Age of Ultron."

According to Youth Health, Quicksilver's Aaron Taylor-Johnson said that he cannot divulge any concrete details about the question if he will indeed be coming back to "Avengers 3: Infinity War."

The dashing actor although said that "it was definitely an alternative."

"It was very much set from the very beginning," he said. "Joss had in mind to tell the story that he told and I was very game for that as well."

Franchise Herald revealed that in "Avengers 3: Infinity Wars," Quicksilver will be revived with an elixir called Terrigen Mist. With the aid of the potion, he can acquire the power to sail through time as an improvement of his prior speed.

Adding to that, Director Joss Whedon's statement to Empire indicated that, "I said to Aaron, 'The only way you will stay alive is if the Disney executives say, 'Hey, idiot! This is a franchise! We need all these people and you are not allowed to kill them off!'''

"We did, actually, shoot him in the last scene — in an outfit, with his sister. We also shot him, waking up, saying, 'Ah, I did not really die from these 47 bullet wounds!' Maybe I will let you know about that later."

That being said, perhaps superheroes cheats death all the time and fans will see Quicksilver standing side by side with the rest of the elite forces of "Avengers 3: Infinity War" to fight off villains.

As for villains, according to Movies Cheat Sheet, they play a large part in the success of a superhero movie. "The Avengers" franchise so far is Marvel Cinematic Universe's best, but it has an endemic problem within a large number of MCU when it comes to their heroes battling their evil counterparts such as: Ant-Man and Yellowjacket, Thor and Loki, Captain America and The Winter Soldier. This plot although may not be causing the franchise its downfall but it leaves viewers the feeling that something is lacking the second the movie ends.

In relation to that, George R.R Martin has publicized in his personal blog a post explaining his opinions with regards to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and its villain problems.

The author said, "I am tired of this Marvel movie trope where the bad guy has the same powers as the hero. The Hulk fought the Abomination, who is just a bad Hulk. Spider-Man fights Venom, who is just a bad Spider-Man. Iron Man fights Ironmonger, a bad Iron Man. Yawn. I want more films where the hero and the villain have wildly different powers."

Well, everyone has their opinion on how they view the move of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As for "Avengers 3: Infinity War," it has an opportunity to better its storyline and throw something that the audience will love and appreciate.
