Microsoft announced that those who pre-order the "Halo 5: Guardians Limited Edition Bundle" will receive a 1TB Xbox One console and other new "Halo"-themed items.
The company has already started accepting pre-orders for the package through Amazon for $499.99, Polygon reported.
According to the item's description, the 1TB console and its controller are both designed based on the game's UNSC and the character Spartan Locke. Both sport metallic blue and gray colors and even feature military logos and special sound effects.
The package also includes the Warzone REQ Bundle which contains 14 Premium Requisition Packs. Those who pre-order the bundle will also receive a FOTUS-class armor and a multiplayer emblem, according to VG247.
Aside from these, the "Halo 5: Guardians Limited Edition" pack also contains a Guardian scale model made by Metal Earth as well as the "Halo: The Fall of Reach - Animated Series" and "Spartan Locke's Classified Orders."
The game itself can be accessed through the included Spartan-themed Steel Book that contains the full downloaded copy of "Halo 5: Guardians."
As another pre-order bonus, those who purchase the bundle will be able to install the game once it ships out on Oct. 20, a week before the official release of the game, Gamerant has learned.
However, this does not mean they'll be able to play it once it arrives. Instead, they will have to wait for its release on Oct. 27. But, since they already have "Halo 5: Guardians," they won't have to go through the hassle of downloading and installing it during game day.
But aside from the items included in the "Limited Edition" bundle, gamers can also purchase other gear specifically designed for the game.
This includes the A40+MixAmp M80 "Halo 5: Guardians" Edition Headset from Astro Gaming. At $220, the headset is bundled with an in-game REQ pack. It is scheduled to hit retail stores in September but gamers can start pre-ordering it through Astro Gaming's site.
An Xbox One wireless controller designed after Master Chief will also come out in October for $69.99.
"Halo 5: Guardians," 343 Industries' latest installment in the popular video game series, will be released in October exclusively for the Xbox One.
