The troop who call themselves, "The Supergirls," are a bunch of six-year-old girls who invented a page-turner out of Lego bricks for people with mobile disability, such as arthritis, paralysis and loss of limbs, according to The Girl Scout blog.

They attended a Science Fair at the White House in March, Entertainment Weekly learned. During the event, they were praised by no other than the President of the United States himself, Barrack Obama, for their genius work.

These girls strongly reflect the character and values that "Supergirl" stands for.

"It's just high time. [Supergirl] speaks for hope and bravery and positivity and kindness, and shows that you can be strong without hurting people and without aggression and force," Benoist said in an interview with Access Hollywood at the San Diego Comic Con event.

"And I just think the message is so clear and pure ... It's time for something like that. Some clarity and some positivity," she added.

Cast that will be joining Benoist in CBS' newest superhero-themed show are Mehcad Brooks, Laura Benanti, Calista Flockhart, Chyler Leigh, Jeremy Jordan, Jenna Dewan Tatum, David Harewood, Peter Facinelli.

"Supergirl" will have a special premiere on Oct. 26 at 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., ComingSoon.net reported. It will resume airing on Nov. 2 at its regular 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. time slot.
