‘Bones’ Season 11 [Squintern ALERT!]: Betty White Invades Jeffersonian Team As Newest Intern; Who Among The 10 Seasons Of Notable Squinterns Makes ‘Bones’ More Interesting?

Aside from the exciting twist and turns from the long-running FOX crime drama series, "Bones," the Jeffersonian team squinterns are also making the show more interesting. And in Season 11, a new intern will invade the team.

Squintern is a word used by Booth to call the interns working for his wife, Dr. Brennan. They're also members of the Jeffersonian Institute. And for "Bones" Season 11, 93-year-old veteran star Betty White will be the show's latest intern, TVLine revealed.

In "Bones" Season 11, White will play the role of an accomplished squintern Dr. Beth Mayer, who will assist in a murder case associated with fantasy football. Considered as the world's most experienced forensic anthropologist with half a century of experience under her belt, Mayer is bought in because the latest case happens to be one of her expertise, International Business Times noted. But will she spark some rivalry with Brennan?

Meanwhile, Betty White confirmed her guest appearance in "Bones" Season 11 through a Twitter post, Movie Fone reported.

"Wanted to let you know first that I will be joining the @BONESonFOX family for an upcoming episode this fall! #Bones," White tweeted.

Speaking of squinterns, we listed the names below of the interns who appeared in the 10 seasons of "Bones" along with a snippet about their characters, based on the compilation of Fox.com and Wikia.com. So, do you remember them all?

1. Dr. Zack Addy (Season 1 - Season 3)

Addy was the first squintern introduced in the show. But in Season 3, he got involved with the serial killer known as Gormogon, which resulted to Addy serving time in a psychiatric hospital.

2. Dr. Clark Edison (Season 4)

Edison came in to replace Dr. Addy. While he struggled to work in the lab, he eventually lightened and was able to keep up with the Jeffersonian team.

3. Daisy Wick (Season 4)

Wick was fired by Brennan twice but she has always proved her worth in the team. She also had a romantic relationship with Dr. Sweets and gave birth to their son shortly after his tragic death.

4. Wendell Bray (Season 4)

Bray feared Brennan was attracted to him leading to his awkward start in the team. But since he's so valuable, Brennan paid his services out from her own pocket. And when he was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, he received the best care, courtesy of Brennan, of course!

5. Colin Fisher (Season 4)

Unlike the other upbeat squinterns, Fisher is rather dark and pessimistic in nature. However, he's brilliant in the lab and with the ladies.

6. Vincent Nigel-Murray (Season 4 - Season 6)

Nigel-Murray was mistaken for Booth by a sniper in one of the seasons of "Bones." He was killed by a single shot to his chest.

7. Arastoo Vaziri (Season 4)

Vaziri was first introduced to fill in for Dr. Addy. At first, he struggled with revealing his real accent and his deep religious devotion, but Dr. Sweets helped him with his adjustments. He also has feelings for Cam.

8. Finn Abernathy (Season 7)

Abernathy is a sweet and honest squintern known for his Southern accent. But he has a dark past, where spent time in a juvenile facility after attacking his abusive stepfather with a hunting knife. He is also dating Cam's daughter.

9. Dr. Oliver Wells (Season 8)

Wells is widely disliked for his rude and narcissistic behavior.

10. Rodolfo Fuentes (Season 9)

Fuentes is a confident and good looking doctor who came to America from Cuba.

11. Jessica Warren (Season 9)

Warren is the newest Squintern known for her unconventional upbringing. She always believes in trusting her gut, which led Brennan to question her intelligence.

Among the eleven squinterns, Vincent Nigel-Murray is the only intern who died in "Bones." Meanwhile, Season 11 debuts on Oct. 1 on FOX.
