Lea Michele Talks Love & Career Plans

After two years Lea Michele has completely moved on from Cory Monteith's death, and she is now enjoying her new romance while possibly planning what's next for her career.

Monteith's death due to drug overdose two years ago shocked everyone especially "Glee" fanatics and crushed the late actor's co-star and real-life girlfriend at the time.

Though Lea Michele found it hard to adjust and move on back, she managed to compose herself and live up to the saying "Life must go on." Hence, when Michele was able to find love with beau Matthew Paetz, the actress shared to Flare magazine in its latest issue, which will be out this Sept.1, that though it took her a lot of soul-searching, she ended up being positive about.

The "Scream Queens" actress then said, "I wanted to make sure that I was okay with me, feeling strong and feeling happy on my own. I didn't want anybody to fill any holes for me-that sounds sexual! I wanted to make sure that I was a whole person again and that no one was coming into my life to put me back together."

Michele added: "I needed to do that on my own. I worked very, very, very hard and I got back to that place where I was genuinely happy and strong and ready to live again and see the world and, you know, bring in more beautiful experiences. And that's when someone miraculously came into my life."

Michele began to pick up the pieces one by one until she has completely recovered. She's now very happy with the aspiring model, whom she sarted dating in April 2014. The two met on the set of Michele's "On My Way" music video. She shared with People.

"Glee" took its final curtain call in March, and the actress has been busy filming Ryan Murphy's upcoming Fox show "Scream Queens."

Though the actress is having the time of her life in her career she still has this one dream role and that is to be part of the "Grey's Anatomy" series.

According to Inquisitr, "Grey's Anatomy" creator Shonda Rhimes has been tight-lipped with regards to the addition and subtraction of the show cast. Thus, Michele wants to publicize her desire to be part of the show, so Rhimes will notice her and give her even just a little spot in the series.

She even shared that she slightly knew some medical jargons since her mother is a nurse. Though the actress is still busy filming "Scream Queens," she is still willing to alter her crammed schedule, just so Shonda Rhimes can give her the chance to be part of the series.

For the meantime, catch Lea Michele when "Scream Queens" airs this Sept. 22 on Fox.
