"Real Housewives of New Jersey" alum Danielle Staub recently got engaged to Joe Masalta. Naturally, #RHONJ followers have a thing to say about the reality TV star's latest chapter in her life.
According to The Daily Dish, Joe popped the question and placed the ring earlier this summer. Danielle also told People that there was a moment when she lost hope in searching for true love, but then decided against it and instead opened her mind and heart. Luckily, that's when she met her soon-to-be-husband. "To all women that have experienced pain and heartbreak, don't ever give up on love."
On social media, Joe replied to a well-wisher he's the one who's greatly fortunate, as per E! News. He further added that former "RHONJ" Danielle was responsible for bringing a positive influence in his life. He also said that she's an "awesome mother and best friend." Danielle was married twice which all led to divorce.
Despite the good news surrounding Danielle Staub, some #RHONJ followers have quite a lot to say about her engagement.
On the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" Facebook page, some commenters posted rather nasty remarks towards Danielle Staub.
One FB commenter said, "Who cares! What a tramp she played on the show. She acted like a monster. I felt bad for her kids seeing their Mom with different guys and the way she displayed herself in front of her kids, the angry and hatred for others, was not what she should have been teaching her kids. She was a bully and we try and teach kids bullying is not what we want from our kids. Let's see how long the engagement lasts before he decides she's not what he really wants in a wife."
Another remarked: "No one cares she is a scumbag."
"Poor poor guy, wow somebody actually likes her," said another, referring to Danielle Staub's fiancé, Joe Masalta.
Of course, there were others who posted good words for Danielle and favored her over fellow "RHONJ" reality TV star now locked up in prison, Teresa Giudice. The two had a lot of tension going on as seen in the previous episodes.
One fan said, "Team Danielle! She got attacked by all of them,especially table flipping Teresa! Bring back Danielle to turn the table back to inmate Teresa!"
And another commented, "You rock Danielle !! I love that you told the b**ch Teresa off....She been a lying nasty tramp from the get go!!"

So who is Danielle's main man? As per his Facebook page, Joe Masalta is from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His recent post also showed that he's an avid fan of skydiving. He went with his good friend Steven Katz at Vegas Extreme Skydiving. Masalta has two children of his own.
