'Captain America: Civil War' NEWS: Hulk's Appearance Cancelled, Fate Now Unknown; Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige Has A New Boss

"Captain America: Civil War" will feature almost all the characters everybody loves from "Avengers: Age of Ultron," plus Ant-Man. One hero is missing though, and he is one of the original players in "Avengers" — Hulk.

The news came in a surprise when Mark Ruffalo, who played the role of Bruce Banner confirmed to the Italian film site Bad Taste that his character's appearance in "Captain America: Civil War" was cancelled, according to Entertainment Weekly. The fate of the green guy is now unknown.

"The reason [for Hulk's disappearance] is too great to be revealed in [Civil War]," Ruffalo was quoted. "I was in the script but then they removed my character."

"They don't want to reveal where is he and why. I don't even know if Hulk will be back soon," he added.

It's not only the film that's experiencing some changes. It has been reported recently that it's happening inside Marvel's circle, too.

Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige, the man behind the Marvel Cinematic Universe, reportedly broke free from Marvel Entertainment CEO Ike Perlmutter. He is now reporting directly to the head of Disney Studios, Alan Horn, Den of Geek has learned through The Hollywood Reporter.

A source told the entertainment site that the re-organization was approved by Disney's CEO Bob Iger, and had it not happen; Feige might have resigned. It was quoted that multiple sources claimed Feige had his frustration for years.

The said source added that the budget for "Captain America: Civil War" ballooned, and Feige was directed by his previous boss, and the creative committee wanted to cut the budget down.

The report additional stated that the reorganization would not relatively affect Marvel's television unit. It runs TV series like "Agent Carter" and "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" on ABC and "Daredevil" on Netflix. Marvel No official statement has been heard from Disney or Marvel pertaining to this issue.

The film, which is already in post-production, is under the tutelage of Anthony and Joe Russo, ComingSoon.net reported.
