Brooklyn Beckham, Chloe Moretz Split Because Of Justin Bieber’s Ex Selena Gomez? David & Victoria Beckham’s Son Reportedly Smitten With ‘Good For You’ Singer

Selena Gomez is currently being accused of bein the reason why David and Victoria Beckham’s son, Brooklyn Beckham, broke up with “If I Stay” actress Chloe Moretz. The shocking rumors even claim that the “Wake Me Up” music video star is smitten with the “Good For You” songstress.

While Brooklyn and Chloe's breakup was reportedly due to the long distance and the times they spent apart, Hollywood Life has revealed this week citing sources that the couple went to splitsville because the teenage Beckham was overly obsessed with Justin Bieber's on-again, off-again girlfriend Selena Gomez.

Taylor Swift's BBF was said to be the person who caused a "friction" between Chloe and Brooklyn's romance until the two eventually called it quits.

Sources claimed that the 16-year-old son of the Manchester United football star has this huge crush on 23-year-old Selena that it drove him crazy and led him to cut his romance with the 18-year-old "Kick-Ass" star.

An OK! magazine insider was quoted to have revealed: "He was smitten with Selena even while he was dating Chloe, which was one of the reasons they broke up."

The tipster also furthered that what breaks young Beckham's heart was the fact that Gomez only sees him as a friend. "[Selena] says Brooklyn's sweet and all, but he's just too young for her. In a few years time that could change, but for now she only sees him as a friend - and it's breaking his heart."

CelebDirtyLaundry also ran a story on SelGo's alleged involvement in the Beckham-Moretz split, with the site even insinuating that Brooklyn couldn't have bailed out from his relationship with Chloe, whom he really loved, if Selena "didn't lead him on."

Also, if the rumors were true, it would be unfortunate on Brooklyn's part since Selena is reportedly still in love with 21-year-old "Boyfriend" hitmaker Justin Bieber.

"Selena loves hearing Justin gush about her in interviews. She likes to know he's still thinking about her," an insider said in Hollywood Life's report.

Gomez, Moretz and Beckham have yet to comment on the rumors that are currently making rounds in Hollywood and on the Web.

Meanwhile, Victoria Beckham's son just made his music video debut by appearing in The Vamps' "Wake Me Up." Brooklyn appears alongside the British band members Tristan Evans, Connor Ball, Brad Simpson and James McVey in the "upbeat, anthemic song's" music video, as reported by People.
