'Avengers 3: Infinity War Part 1' To Be The FIRST Film With A $1 Billion Production Budget? Tony Stark Cement's His Legacy As A Genius, BILLIONAIRE, Playboy & Philanthropist

"Avengers 3: Infinity War Part 1" and "Part 2" are rumored to have a staggering $1 billion as its production budget. With that much moolah, it seems that Tony Stark actor, Robert Downey Jr., can now embody his character's famous quote of being a "genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist."

As reported by Movie Pilot, we already know that the cast of the "Avengers: Infinity War Part 1" and "Part 2" will include almost everyone on the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And as such, it's sure won't come in cheap as most of them are A-list celebrities.

Rumors are now on going that the production budget could reach a billion and for a movie, it's unheard of and it's simply insane. However, if you have been watching the movies, you could say that it would be worth it.

Cinema Blend reports that the film is being shot back to back which explains the rather costly budget. Furthermore, it was reported that Robert Downey Jr. would get half of the overall budget for the actors.

However, the "Avengers 3: Infinity War" does not have a script or a plot as of this very moment so the budget must be taken with a grain of salt.

Forbes are also skeptical about the $1 billion budget for the "Avengers" movies. According to the report, there is no way Marvel or its parent company, Disney, to spend a billion dollars for both of the movies.

In addition, the risk is too big that the budget may not receive a fair return such as the case of 2012's "John Carter" and 2013's "The Lone Ranger." Both movie costing more than $200 million and barely gave decent proceeds at the box office.

But no matter how implausible the rumored budget is, one things is for certain, the "Avengers: Infinity War Part 1" and "Part 2" will be the epic conclusion that Marvel fans are waiting for.
