“Supernatural” is back after last week’s premiere. Episode 2 “Form and Void” will pick up from where the pilot episode left off, and it seems that Sam and Dean are neither in heaven or hell this week, but it sure feels like they are going through hell with the bizarre things that are happening.
From the title of the episode alone, it's clear that the Winchesters are not working together to save the day. They will go their separate ways and handle different problems and hopefully find a silver lining from the madness that The Darkness brought to the city.
In the premiere, the brothers stumbled upon nurse Jenna. In episode 3, Jensen Ackles' dean will help the latter and her baby get home to her grandmother safe and sound. The show released via Facebook a clip of Dean successfully dropping off Jenna at her grandmother's place.
Unknown to Dean, while he is set to help Jared Padalecki's Sam deal with the aftermath of The Darkness, Jenna is going to fall into a very dangerous situation.
Because Jenna will ask Dean for help, the latter will not refuse and will instead return to the nurse instead of helping Sam out in wiping the infection that's transforming the townspeople into walking monsters.
International Business Times has learned what is up against in tonight's show, and it could be no other than Jenna's baby.
Apparently, Crowley has learned that the baby has the ability to eat souls, so when he passes this knowledge to Dean, the older Winchester brother will look for a way to save Jenna from the real Darkness.
Elsewhere, Sam will have to deal with the infection on his own. It can be noted that he also got infected in the premiere. This Wednesday, he will start to worsen, but he will find a way to face off the infected people. TV Fanatic asks whether through this gesture he can find a cure.
The official synopsis of tonight's episode reads: "Dean helps Jenna, the nurse he met after the Darkness fell, get back home safely, but she soon falls into dangerous hands. Meanwhile, Sam deals with a town infected by a mysterious and deadly gas that is turning the locals into monsters."
