"The Blacklist" Season 3 continues with another episode this Thursday night, and NBC's action-packed series is going to get extra exciting with a Liz-centric storyline that even Reddington and the FBI will try everything to protect her from the big trouble that lies ahead.
"Blacklist" fans will once again be treated with a new episode this Halloween week, but instead of trick-or-treating, Liz will be running for her life when a new blacklister puts bounty on her head. Following which, shade assassins will emerge and attempt at slaying agent Keen just to get the bounty, International Business Times has learned.
As per usual, Reddington will not just stand and watch as Liv fights to spare her life. Red and the FBI team will go to extreme measures just to protect Liv from the unknown dangers that are actually repercussions of the new blacklister's bold gesture.
In a sneak peek at "The Blacklist" Season 3 episode 5, agent Aram Mojtabai could be heard telling the FBI, "Someone's put a price on agent Keen's head." Then, a scene shows Red telling Liiz, "We have to move, now." However, agent Ressler may not be in favor of Red's idea, so she could be heard saying, "We are not going to protect Keen, we are going to arrest her."
"The Blacklist" Season 3 Episode 5 is entitled "Arioch Cain" and it will see Liz as a fugitive agent being tracked down by multiple authorities and even killers. The action scenes will certainly leave the hearts of viewers beating rapidly. A standoff in an airplane hangar will also be featured in tonight's episode. In this scene, Red will tell Liz to "put down her gun" in the face of the many agents who are trying to arrest her, as per LatinPost.
Meanwhile, in an interview, Spader opened up about the NBC series saying, "We don't know how long the show is going to live. One has to have a certain amount of fluidity. To nail down the creative forces behind the show to specifics that may not come to light until six years from now is foolhardy - I think that's a foolish endeavor. I think ultimately it'd be an exercise in futility."
The official synopsis of "The Blacklist" Season 3 Episode 5 reads: "An enormous bounty is posted for Agent Keen drawing out any number of unknown assassins while the FBI and Reddington join forces to protect her."
