Lil Boosie Cancer Diagnosis: Louisiana Rapper Asks For Prayers In Instagram Post


Lil Boosie was diagnosed by his doctors of having cancer Nov. 25, and he took to Instagram to ask prayers from his fans.

MTV reported the Lil Boosie posted on Instagram a photo of himself in front of a table laden with food with the caption: “I need all my fans to pray for me. Doctor just told me I have cancer on my kidneys. Prayer is powerful. That’s why I’m letting the world know. Pray fa Boosie.”

According to TMZ, the caption has since been deleted possibly because Lil Boosie's team was not pleased with his big cancer diagnosis reveal to the public. However, the photo is still on Instagram and until now prayers being offered by the fans kept on coming.

HipHopWired revealed Lil Boosie's cancer diagnosis could be the reason why lately the rapper lacked chill.

Lil Boosie also known as Boosie Badazz's kidney cancer diagnosis could give him symptoms like extreme fatigue, sudden weight loss, fevers that last for weeks and even hematuria or blood in the urine, as per WebMD.

For those of you who are not so familiar with Lil Boosie, here's a quick glance in the life of the struggling Lousiana rapper.

The 33-year-old Louisiana native had just gotten out early from prison just a year ago when he learned about his kidney cancer diagnosis. Aside from this ailment, Lil Boosie has also been battling diabetes for a couple of years.

Back in March 2014, from out of the blue, Lil Boosie was released early from a Louisiana State Penitentiary where he has been in since 2009. The rapper was charged with third-degree Marijuana possession and would be on parole come 2018. Apparently, while in prison, he penned more than a thousand songs.

Hollywood Life reported that upon getting his freedom last Mar. 5, Lil Boosie, whose real name is Torrence Hatch recorded his first track called, "Same Game." The song was about "the rap game."

Lastly, just days before Lil Boosie informed the world about his cancer diagnosis, he was criticized for going on an offensive homophobic outburst. The post on Instagram on Nov. 23 was about him confronting gay story lines whenever he puts on the TV. His incredibly offensive comments have since been taken down.

We hope for the best and pray for Lil Boosie as he faces his kidney cancer.
