Angelina Jolie Weight: Brad Pitt Wasting Away With Wife's Diet; 'By The Sea' Actress-Director Empowers Women To Feel Good About Their Bodies

Angelina Jolie's weight has been the center of attention for quite some time now and the latest news was that of her husband, Brad Pitt, wasting away because of the diet she imposed on him.

In a report by Celeb Dirty Laundry, Angelina Jolie's weight fascination has caused Brad Pitt to drop the scales suddenly due to the actress-director's shocking diet.

Apparently, some showbiz observers were worried that Angelina Jolie has an eating disorder and that the "Fury" actor might have been affected as well.

In the opening of the couple's movie, "By The Sea" last November, Brad Pitt looked much younger and wife Angelina Jolie held the strict paleo diet they have been recently adhering to responsible for the actor's fresh appearance.

However, when talks shifted to Brad Pitt's face, the "Maleficent" actress was rumored to have overreacted and further restricted their joint eating program resulting to the "World War Z 2" star's thinner appearance and him dropping 20 pounds, as per OK! magazine.

It's possible that Angelina Jolie's weight obsession with her body image and now with her husband's was due to the fact that she's endeavoring to keep her and Brad Pitt from having to battle cancer eventually. The Hollywood A-lister has talked openly about her having a high risk in developing certain cancers. She has even taken the drastic measure of having her breasts removed as a precaution.

In 2013, Angelina Jolie made a decision to have a double mastectomy when she discovered that her chances of developing cancer of the breast were at 87 percent due to a defective BRCA1 gene.

Recently, she wanted women to feel good about their bodies despite of them having operations. In her latest film "By The Sea," Angelina Jolie bared some skin. The actress-director also revealed that when they were shooting for a bathtub scene in the nude, she had to stop herself from cutting scenes out just because she's married or had a mastectomy.

Belfast Telegraph revealed the sensual beauty said, "I didn't want to hide and wanted to show women that these operations don't equal the end."

"You can still have breasts. They might be slightly different to the touch, but you can still feel like a woman. We shouldn't have to be ashamed."

Meanwhile, The Hollywood Reporter has learned Angelina Jolie — who's currently in Cambodia filming "First They Killed My Father," a Khmer Rouge biography based on a 2000 memoir by Luong Ung, a human rights activist and Cambodian author — will serve as president for the country's International Film Festival honorary committee which will be held in Phnom Penh and run from Dec. 4 to 10. The festival will screen 130 films from 34 different countries.
