LG Launches Dream Monitor Line-Up - The 21:9 UltraWide, 4K Ultra Monitor Models At CES 2016

LG just announced through press release that they are set to launch a range of new products, particularly a line of impressive monitors. The announcement was made a few weeks prior to the much awaited Consumer Electronic Show 2016.

LG is one of the major manufacturers of various display devices, laptops, smartphones, televisions and home appliances but the company revealed that it is introducing everyone's dream computer monitors at the CES 2016.

For the company's booth, it will be displaying the 34-inch 21:9 Curved UltraWide monitor, an Ultra HD 4k monitor, and a thin 21:9 UltraWide workstation monitor. On top of this, the tech giant will showcase the LG gram 15-inch laptop, which is dubbed to be the lightest wide-screened notebook in the world.

The ultra-light LG Gram only weighs less than 2 pounds but it offers herculean processing power that is further enhanced by Windows 10 and sixth-generation Intel CPUs. Buyers can expect more advanced specs.

Then again, despite the greatness of the LG Gram, it is the LG monitors which include the the new LG 4K, 34-inch 21:9 curved UltraWide QHD and the LG 34UC98 that are being presented by the Korean company as its CES 2016 major items.

The LG 34UC98 has been designed for digital professionals and gamers. It boasts of curved QHD IPS panel measuring 3440x1440. It has FreeSync support as well. The FreeSync technology allows for smooth graphics rendering and provides much better HD resolutions.

As for the 21:9 UltraWide monitor it is best for graphic designers and photographers that require rigorous coloring accuracy. Its special feature is the Thunderbolt 2 connectors. This connector is way ahead of its counterparts due to it ability to deliver data at lighting speed of 20Gbps. This is twice faster compared to the equally new USB 3.1 protocol, but it has one setback -- it is quite expensive.

LG is definitely giving its costumers and tech lovers something to look forward to in the upcoming CES event that is set to take place on Jan. 5-9, 2016 in Las Vegas.

Lastly, most of the companies did not reveal what they will be putting on display at the CES 2016, but LG just cannot wait for the world to see their newest gadgets. In addition to unveiling the monitors and Gram notebook, the tech firm flaunts its G Pad tablet, LG Watch Urbane and Rolly Keyboard, according to PC Mag.

To summarize, LG is introducing three models of 21:9 UltraWide monitors and these will feature 3440x1440 resolution. They will also be fitted with Thunderbolt 2 connectors. On the other hand, the new LG UC series monitors will come in curved and flat screens but both types will have the 21:9 UltraWide display.
