Downton Abbey Season 6 Finale is a Sad Final Episode for a Final Season, Prepare to Cry!

You've heard it before and you'll hear it again. All good things come to an end. That holds true for Downton Abbey. Downton Abbey stars tells us what to expect in the finale. Will it be good or bad?

More like - sad!

Elizabeth McGovern, indicated in an interview, that it's not going to be pretty. The question was -  Will fans be pleased with the ending of the Crawley family's saga?

McGovern says, "I don't think so." She explains that the show's creator, Julian Fellowes, has given the fans a chance to bid their farewells to each of their favorite characters. It appears it's going to be a tear-jerker when the audience will get a glimpse of the future that lies ahead for each character. 

McGovern plays Lady Cora in the much beloved show, she told E!:

I think that people will be satisfied; it remains about the characters toward the end.

Jim Carter also shared his side of the coin. He says that he's unsure if the audience will be happy but he is sure that the Downton Abbey fans will be satisfied of closure the show will bring. Carter explains that the show will be tied up together in an intricate weave as everybody says goodbye to everyone. He waves -

...goodbye to these characters everybody has grown so fond of in a satisfying way.

Are you prepared for Season 6? It's going to be filled with tons of drama when Henry and Bertie return, they said. And that goes without saying that you should prepare yourself when Anna and Bates keeps getting their hearts broken again (and maybe again) as they try to start a family of their own. While Edith ponders about Marigold's secret, Tom and Rose will be returning to Downton and the others are thinking of leaving the place. 

Downton Abbey's final season begins Sunday, January 3, 2016 9:00 PM EST on PBS, as reported online.
