Barack Obama And Family Celebrates Super Bowl 50 With Wings And Pizza

Everyone tuned in to the Super Bowl 50 this week and that even includes the United States President Barack Obama himself. And he chooses to sit back, relax and eat some junk food to start the kick-off.

With the Broncos winning over the Panthers by a 24-10 lead, even officials at the White House took a break for the Super Bowl.

During an interview with CBS News' Gayle King, the couple acknowledged that the Sunday event is huge for every American family, including them.

The first lady Michelle Obama is reportedly busy with the "Let's Move" campaign aimed to curb obesity, she did take some time off and spent time with the family to watch the game. The only thing on the table are wings, nachos and pizza. Goes to show family time is a priority even for the presidential family.

President Barack Obama proves to be a normal guy when asked what he planned for the weekend. He spent it with his regular friends, nomming on junk food and a healthy vegetable tray - which apparently nobody touches.

Though this is a family event, Barack Obama, being a serious football fan, secluded himself and his friends at the Treaty Room of the White House. While the ladies, e.g. Michelle, relaxes in the champagne room - the room she calls "where you really don't know what's going on, but you're close to the champagne."

Since the Broncos won over the Panthers on Sunday, the cards revealed that Obama placed his bet on the Panthers. He even joked that he felt pressured guessing the winner of Sunday's game. During the "CBS This Morning" show, the hosts showed the president's card with the Panthers logo circled and his name beside it.

The Broncos' win makes it their third Super Bowl title with Denver Miller scoring the MVP crown.
