The 23 year old singer has been mistaken as a Kardashian sister several times, sometimes due to her wardrobe and sometimes because of her her and make-up. Whatever the case, she certainly enjoys it.
Yahoo details that Lovato loves the Kardashians because of what they have done for society.
It happened during an interview on Ellen with host and comedian Ellen DeGeneres. Lovato explained that Kim Kardashian has helped her embrace her own body, saying that Kim's curves helped her embrace her own.
When I was growing up - at the kind of age where your body starts changing and you want to be cool - it was in that era of when very, very, very thin people were the popular people in Hollywood, so that's what I had to look up to," says Lovato. She further adds that she has had body image issues and eating disorders even at a young age.
What made her change her mind? She thanked the Kardashians for that. Kim and her family has changed the way society looks at beauty. Lovato went on further to explain that when the Kardashians became famous she soon realized that curves are associated with beauty and she thought that was "cool". That helped her overcome her eating disorder and she also got over her body image. She became proud of her curves.
To celebrate her definition of beauty, Yahoo listed the ways Lovato was mistaken as a Kardashian.
1. They wore a camel coat
2. Demi posing with the cropped look that was Kim's signature look in leather.
3. Their fur coats.
4. Motorcycle jackets.
5. And sometimes just posing for the cameras.
