Kobe Bryant Reflects On His Basketball Career Following Final All Star Game

NBA All Star Kobe Bryant reflects on his basketball career following the final All-Star Game. Before it's over, Bryant said he appreciates the little things in his final NBA campaign.

With the West's win over the East at 196-173,  Bryant received a standing ovation which goes to show he is admired both on and off the court. He is described to be a dedicated player and though a lot of people may not have liked him, they sure respected him.

A tribute was held in honor of Bryant. It didn't just focus Bryant's accomplishments during the past twenty years, but it also showed Bryant's effect on everyone. Everybody encountered a ripple effect from the all-star and he was called the Michael Jordan of his generation - the biggest label a basketball star could ever earn.

What does Bryant think about the whole thing? "It's the stories of when they first came into the league and they were matching up against me, and just kind of the little things that -- an elbow here or a steal here, and then wanting to earn my respect at an early age, right?" the NBA All-star told USA Today.

He felt wonderful to hear about the things that were said although he may never face LeBron James again, it is clear that they all respected and loved him regardless.

"Kobe's last game before the break was in Cleveland, it was just bittersweet being out on the floor with him knowing the matches between us two are coming to an end soon," James said.
