How to Answer The Interview Question: “When Did You Go Against Company Policy?”

The best way to handle this question is to be frank, honest and straightforward. Don't be careless with your words, and don't say anything that will put your character in a bad light.

You can also try turning back the question to the interviewer by saying "I've never really experienced going against company policy, but is that a practice that you encourage here?"

But the point is to answer this type of question as honest and as concise as you can, and give the impression that you are not even slightly disturbed by the question.
