"Saw 8" is happening soon and many are already at the edge of their seats waiting for the new gorry, heart-wrenching and intense bloody sequences that the new film will introduce to fans.
The new upcoming movie of James Wan still has to decide on the plot as of the moment, however, speculations are rife that "Saw 8" could be a reboot or a sequel. According to Complex, there was a possibility in the past that the production house is considering the movie as a reboot, but details have yet to be confirmed.
Apart from this, many suspected that the seventh installment released in 2010 known as "Saw 3D: The Final Chapter" is already the final leg of all the "Saw" franchise. This speculation was due to the what the title hints and also because of the years of waiting for the next sequel.
James Wan was once asked in an interview in 2014 regarding "Saw 8" and the brilliant thriller director claimed that, "I will say this: never say never again. [Laughs] Sean Connery made a movie about that, actually. You know, I think the Saw universe, the Saw brand, is too big to just let it just sit there on a shelf. I'll say that much."
There is clear hope, but the details regarding the plot or the twisted storyline was not yet revealed. Complex on the other hand said that the upcoming psycho-thriller movie is set to premiere in 2017 and probably in October.
Den of Geek detailed that the producers of the eighth installment will still be James Wan and Leigh Whannell while the twisted tale and tormenting storyline will be the responsibility of Josh Stolberg and Pete Goldfinger. According to the outlet, Stolberg and Goldfinger were also the men behind the "Piranha" films such as "Piranha 3D," "Piranha 3DD" and "Sorority Row."
The first ever released "Saw" film was in 2004 and was later on succeeded by several franchises until 2010 for "Saw 3D: The Final Chapter." All of the horror thriller's franchise earned considerable amount in the box office and not lowering to a million gross sales in tickets.
Although the details of "Saw 8: Legacy" is still undetermined, fans should stay tuned for more details regarding the movie.
