Once a media darling, Amanda Bynes' odd behavior has many wondering if she hasn't already fallen into the same woeful category as Lindsey Lohan and Britney Spears. Her most recent photo and comments made earlier this year suggest she may be on the verge of anorexia as well.
In her latest foray into the Twitter-verse, Bynes can be seen wearing a gold embroidered miniskirt and a body suit that reveals a very ample cleavage. Apparently not happy with herself, and clearly indicating some major self-image issues, Bynes commented on the photo:
"Looking pudgy and I broke my nail #GirlProblems."
Regardless of whether she is in fact pudgy (she's not), it has become clear that Bynes is doing anything in her power to not be a good role model for the same generation of girls that once rocketed her stardom. This is not the first time she has mentioned problems with her weight, stating earlier this year that she would like to move from her rail-thin 121 pound frame all the way down to 100 pounds. At 5'8", such a weight would be considered anorexic according to the body-mass index (BMI).
This past year has been anything but stellar for the former queen of Nickelodeon. So far she has had two hit and runs, a charge of driving with a suspended license, and a DUI go on her record, and she does not appear to be slowing down.
The 26-year-old former actress has garnered attention via the social networking site Twitter in recent weeks for her outlandish statements and odd behavior. The situation has gotten so bad lately that her family has issued a statement pleading with her to move back to L.A.
"Her family wants her to return to Los Angeles so that they can keep a closer eye on her," a source for the entertainment channel E! has said. "[The family] is hopeful that everything is going to be fine, but they're ready to step in if needed."
The odd behavior started with the aforementioned driving incidents, and soon progressed to her stripping down to her underwear during a spin class in her new home base, New York. People didn't really start to raise eyebrows however, until Bynes issued a full-out barrage of questionable Twitter posts these past few weeks.

She has recently been evicted from her apartment for being a nuisance. If Bynes does continue to lose weight to reach her 100 pound goal, she very well could have health issues to deal with as well. It is unclear what her next move will be, but suffice to say, the world of Twitter will be waiting with open arms.
