1. Living Proof - Jennifer Aniston

Aniston is not only a Living Proof spokeswoman but also the owner. According to E! News, the 47-year-old actress has now acquired the haircare line that connnects hair health and technology in every product it produce.

2. Poshmark - Rachel Zoe

Fashion expert Rachel Zoe has invested in Poshmark. It is an online site that allows users to "buy and sell fashion" with just a few clicks of the buttons.

3. Skype - Ashton Kutcher

Kutcher is perhaps one of the most celebrity startup investors to date and one of his most profitable investments was investing in Skype in 2009. In addition, Kutcher also backed huge apps like Uber, Spotify and Airbnb, Investopedia notes.

Ashton also started his own venture capitalist firm called A-Grade Investments. He also invested undisclosed amounts in some of the hottest start-ups in the tech industry.

4. Elevation Partners - Bono

Bono has set up his own venture capital firm Elevation Partners, which is one of the most successful, Hot Topics reports. Bono's firm has invested early in Dropbox and Facebook as well as putting money behind Forbes and MarketShare in the past.

5. Mobli - Leonardo DiCaprio

DiCaprio led a $4 million investment round in Mobli, a Tel Aviv-based photo-sharing app maker, in 2011. As per CNBC News, DiCaprio were soon joined by Tobey Maguire and athletes Lance Armstrong and Serena Williams to invest in the company.

DiCaprio's most recent investment, however, was in Diamond Foundry. As previously reported, Diamond Foundry is a Santa Clara-based startup company that claims to produce hundreds of real diamonds in just a span of two weeks.
