Fans fell in love with Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone when they worked on the movie "Crazy, Stupid, Love" and "Gangster Squad." Now, the on-screen couple are back again in a romantic musical. This is different from their previous works. The movie is a romantic musical which focuses on a darker aspect in the romantic comedy platform.
Gosling plays Sebastian, a jazz musician and Stone is his girl friend, Mia. Mia is an aspiring actress and both artists are trying to make it big in the Hollywood industry. According to reports, Gosling used "City of Stars" in the teaser trailer.

Though they may not be real-life couples, both actors have continuously supported each other in their work and careers. They have gone through various performances together and have been there for each other through rejections and auditions alike. But their story in "La La Land" might just be a tragedy.
