Vin Diesel is a busy action star. He may not seem like he is working on XXX: Return of Xander Cage and while he is working on the production of Fast and Furious 8, he did not neglect the latter.

Vin Diesel announced that the first full trailer for the third installment of the franchise is coming! In celebration, he let out a teaser that shows Xander Cage throw punches and a dirt bike flip scene. It looks like XXX: The Return of Xander Cage is amping up.

"Damn, it feels good to be back!" was the teasing line Cage said in the video Diesel released on Facebook. He was presumed dead for several years. He sported his signature fur-lined coat from the original movie and it does not look like it is out of style. According to reports, XXX3 promises to be an "explosive action thriller." The last chapter in the trilogy focuses on Cage coming out of his self-exile. He is set on a collision course with Xiang (played by Donnie Yen). Xiang is a deadly alpha warrior and he has a team that aims to take a weapon called Pandora's Box.

Finding himself matched, Xander Cage (played by Diesel) recruits his own team and finds himself enmeshed in a deadly conspiracy that points to collusion at the highest levels of world governments. As usual, Diesel's Cage sports the no-mess around attitude. The movie promises explosive stunts with Samuel Jackson, Toni Collette, Ruby Rose, Tony Jaa, Vampire Diaries' Nina Dobrev and Miss Universe contestant Ariadna Gutierrez.

XXX:The Return of Xander Cage is directed by D.J. Caruso and penned by Chad St. John and F. Scott Frazier. The movie is hitting theaters on January 20, 2017.
