"Scorpion" Season 3 will start with the introduction of Happy Quinn's husband and with Walter's disappearance from the show.
It can be remembered that Happy Quinn (Jady Wong) got married in Season 2 with a mysterious guy, so fans expect that his face will be revealed in the next season. However, the show's director warns fans that Happy's husband will totally surprise, and shock them that they might be as unhappy as Toby upon knowing the man whom she was married to.
"Scorpion" EP also say that they "absolutely" know who Happy's husband is, but of course they aren't telling. "We can't reveal who it is. But yes, we wouldn't drop a bombshell like that and not know which way we wanted to go with it. Hopefully it'll be an interesting storyline," says executive producer Nick Santora.
Aside from Happy's controversial marriage, fans are also puzzled by the confirmation that the show will temporarily cast off Walter (Elyes Gabel). In the show, Walter will suffer from hypoxia, a deficiency in the tissues of the body. Walter will accordingly have hallucinations and series of unconscious dreams, causing him to be shut off the show. Since Walter is a fan-favorite, Team Scorpion expects that a lot of fans will be dismayed with his absence. This is also one of the twists that fans should look forward in "Scorpion" Season 3.
Meanwhile, even in the absence of Walter, it is said that the relationship between him and Paige Dineen (Katherine McPhee) will also be delved on. In fact, Walter will reportedly have difficulty in confessing his feelings, which adds to the series of emotional waves from different characters in "Scorpion" Season 3.
Moreover, if the romantic relationship between the two will really be highlighted in "Scorpion" Season 3, then Walter's circumstances, whether he will be killed or totally disappear, is one of the complications that the two will be facing in addition to the rumored professional complications they have to deal with.
