Michael Schumacher Health Update (Latest): Where Is He Now? Some Interesting Facts Bout The Man Who Owned The Tracks

Michael Schumacher has dominated the world of racing for many years. The retired German racer has won seven championships and holds a lot of records in the sport. Unfortunately, the driver has had a fatal injury to the brain back in 2013 during a skiing accident.

Parent Herald reports that the retired Formula 1 driver's medical bills are gradually increasing. Sources also say that Schumacher's wife(Corrina)auctioned their private jet, resort and sports car. It appears that Schumacher's condition made him immobile which is why he would undergo rehabilitation procedures that would cost around $150,000 every week. Medical bills have amounted to $15 million since his accident back in Dec. 29, 2013.

Schumacher's family has always revolved around the sport or racing. Rolf Schumacher(father)was a bricklayer and operated a local kart track while Elisabeth Schumacher(mother)operated the local canteen.
Schumacher was born in Cologne, Germany on 3 January 1969 and is six years older than his younger brother Ralf Schumacher, who is also a famous Formula One racer, according to Formula 1. He also has a stepbrother, Sebastian Stahl, who is also a racer. Schumacher liked to play on a pedal kart as a kid, where his father would attach a small motorcycle engine to it, but the future Formula 1 champion surprisingly crashed it, as stated by PPcorn.

He won his first ever kart championship at the age of six and made really good progress as he gained sponsorship. He then became an apprentice as a car mechanic and eventually became a full-time racer. In his Formula One debut, he would stun the whole world qualifying in different tournaments and eventually won 7 championships in 1994, 1995, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004.

Schumacher indeed left a mark in the history of racing and it is unfortunate to see that he is currently under challenging circumstances. There is no certainty if he would fully recover from his condition but he there is no denying that he is still one of the world's greatest racers.
