'Logan' Starring Hugh Jackman Latest News And Updates: Leaked Photo From The Wolverine Movie Shows The Actor Is Not Healing Well

Director James Mangold has been leaving cryptic innuendos in the past few days following the release of the official trailer of 'Logan.' Both the pictures and the short clip had fans scouring the internet for more.

According to Movie News Guide, Mangold is not leaving any stone unturned to hype the excitement for the latest Wolverine film. The movie may also be the last time Hugh Jackman is going to reprise the role of the clawed mutant. Either way, both Jackman, and Mangold will exhaust all efforts to make this a one-of-a-kind movie.

In an interview with Carly Steel for ET earlier this month, Jackman mentioned the newest Wolverine film is going to be "different to anything we've done." The released preview surely lived up to everything Jackman promised, as scenes not necessarily child-friendly were revealed, like when Logan stabbed his enemy from the jaw and pierced through his skull. It proves this new movie is not for the faint of heart.

In the trailer, Logan is seen with his hands shaking, smeared with blood all over his fists and apparently aged. This gives an indication that his healing capabilities may be fading, thus his weakened demeanor. The same can be said for Charles Xavier played by Patrick Stewart as a video clip of him lying in a worn-out hospital bed is flashed, giving out a bleak, desperate feel to the film. Together, they set out to protect a little girl that Charles described to Logan as "very much like you."

The released photos of Logan surely made an impression of how much hurt the character has felt and will be feeling in the movie, as per Inverse. Though it is true that he looked pretty much beaten up and spent with scars and bruises both in the photos and in the trailer, you simply can't deny that he still got some muscle to dish pain to his enemies.

Logan will be aired in theaters by March 2017. Prepare to watch the well-loved mutant like you've never seen him before.
