There is also a claim that Naughty Dog has yet to work on the said sequel. There have been reports to the contrary that claim Naughty Dog is already working on the much-awaited sequel upon the completion of their other popular title "Uncharted 4". Despite this claim, fans have yet to be faced with a solid sign that The Last of Us 2" will be coming soon.

Fans have been clamoring for the horror game they know and love dearly, and as a result, there have been rumors and observations that hint on the game's possible progress. Neil Druckmann, the character designer at Naughty Dog has some interesting entries in his Linkedin profile.

The latter declares that the artist already has his hands on the head sculptures for "The Last of Us 2" and fans consider this as progress towards the development of the much-awaited horror sequel. Moreover, it is expected that the sequel will take three to five years to complete.

Despite the lack of a solid confirmation from Naughty Dog themselves and even a statement from the developer that they are not yet working on the title, there are reports that suggest the game already is in the works. The voice actor for "Uncharted 4" Nathan Drake has basically confirmed the development of "The Last of Us 2."
