'Winds of Winter' Latest News & Update: 'A Song of Ice and Fire' Author George R.R. Martin Using an Unmethodological Writing Style?

The "Winds of Winter" author, George R.R. Martin was speculated that he was using unmethodological writing style. As previously reported, "A Song of Ice and Fire", another TV series whom George was the author was recently exposed the hollowness of the said myth. Was George an inefficient writer?

George R.R. Martin co-writer, Ty Franck revealed some information about the writing method of the "The Winds of Winter" author. His revelations will jumped into conclusion that the said TV series' release date would be afar off from the suspected date.

The "Winds of Winter" and "Game of Thrones" fans speculated that the author of the said TV series wrote his material on an ancient DOS computer with a 1980's word processor application, WordStar. On the other hand, Ty Franck clarified that George's old DOS machine breakdown a couple of years ago and has been placed for a new one.

According to George co-writer, "The Winds of Winter" author uses a high-tech machine for his writing which also able to run DOS and WordStar 4.0. However, George doesn't want his machine to have an internet connection due to some security purpose. George R.R Martin safeguards his files against hacked and leaked.

As reportedly, Franck admitted that the writing method of George was not time-efficient. "That works for him; he's able to produce work, so more power to him, but that just seems like a really inefficient way to get a story out, from my perspective", he said.

As a result of his unmethodological writing style, "Winds of Winter" author tend to rewrite those repeated chapters which is a waste of time. "Winds of Winter" is the forthcoming sixth novel in the epic fantasy series "A Song of Ice and Fire" by George R. R. Martin. There were rumors that the suspected release date of the said TV series will be on 2017.
