Eminem Dead: Is It Just Internet Trolling Or An Elaborate Promotional Stunt?

News of dead celebrities pops up on the internet like moss on the forest floor. Fortunately, 98 percent of those news turn out to be hoaxes. The latest celebrity to be in the midst of death rumors is Hip Hop legend, Eminem.

While most people would just dismiss these rumors as the internet trolling, some rumors are suggesting that this is just an elaborate promo stunt. For those who are not yet in the loop, according to Travelers Today, Eminem's name has been circulating in social media feeds as of late. Apparently, there is a picture suggesting a credible news site has tagged Eminem as the victim of a fatal drug overdose.

Of course, the rap maestro is still alive, as his death would have caused the world to drown in deep mourning and a whole lot of tribute songs being played on the radio. As what happens when a popular music artist bites the dust.

While it is easy to say that this news is just the run of the mill celebrity fake dates, Per HNGN, there is a reason to believe that there is something quite suspect about the timing of the entire thing. Jobs & Hire has stated that Eminem is set to release a major album and recent reports have tagged this one to be really big.

The album is said to be the final one for the rapper before he hangs up his rap gloves for good. His last album was way back in 2003. This time, he is going to bring some star power to his tracks as some collaborations may include Adele, Kid Cudi, Skylar Grey, and even Kendrick Lamar.

And a little bit of death rumors might just be spicy enough to make the album sizzle much more. Especially, since Eminem has battled drug addiction most of his life. "Success" is rumored to drop in stores early next year, some have even placed a January release date.
