‘Arrow‘ Season 5 Episode 7 Preview And Spoilers: ‘Vigilante’ Crosses Path With Team Arrow! A Friend or Foe?

In the upcoming episode of "Arrow," a new character will be introduced going by the moniker: The Vigilante. Josh Segarra will play The Vigilante, masked crimefighter by night, and Adrian Chase working as District Attorney for Star City by day.

The Vigilante's arrival in Star City will cause a split within Team Arrow. This split is the question of whether they should stop someone helping them keep the city safe. While clearly trying to stop bad guys, the Vigilante does so without regard for their lives.

In DC Canon, the Vigilante's family was killed by mobsters. Fans of "Arrow" are speculating whether this version of Vigilante will closely follow his comic book origins.

In an interview with TV Line, Josh Segarra said "it's a pretty exciting time for Chase and for the Vigilante," referring to Vigilante's pending debut. Segarra hints that the Vigilante's interactions will expand.

Does it mean the Vigilante will soon join Team Arrow? With Prometheus still lurking in the background, the Vigilante joining Team Arrow seems a logical conclusion. However, cast and crew of "Arrow" are yet to confirm whether the Vigilante is a friend or foe.

In the same interview, "Arrow" star, Stephen Amell said, "The thing that I like about the episode is that he learns that even if it's not going as quickly as he wants, they really are on the right path." Amell further added, "This isn't the happiest that Oliver has ever been, but this is the most resolute and confident that he has been in his path."

Also in this episode, Lance (Paul Blackthorne) reveals his suspicion to Thea (Willa Holland) that he may be Prometheus. Diggle (David Ramsey) continues to be frustrated about something in his life that fans still no nothing about. Oliver Queen (Amell), in flashbacks, sits down with Konstantin Kovar, played by Dolph Lundgren.

"Arrow," is now on its 5th season, and episode 7 will air on November 16, 2016. "Arrow" is also gearing up for CW's most ambitious crossover story arc yet. According to Comicbook DC, "Arrow," "The Flash," "Supergirl," and "Legends of Tomorrow" will converge in the Arrowverse to fight the alien race, The Dominator.
