Marc Anthony Hopes His Kids Are Proud of Him, Speaking as the Latin Recording Academy's Person of The Year

Marco Antonio Muñiz also known as Marc Anthony who is the top selling tropic salsa artist was recently honored as the Latin Recording person of the year on November 17th this year. Marc spoke on how happy he was and even claimed the moment was what he could never have imagined of. Marc Anthony also appreciated those responsible for issuing award.

According to Salamancapress, Marc is also the father of five kids namely, Ariana the daughter of Debbie Rosada, Cristian Anthony Muniz and Ryan Anthony Muniz sons of former Miss Universe Dayana Torres and the twins he had with Jennifer Lopez Emme Maribel Muniz and Maximillian David Muniz.

In an interview with CBS, he spoke of his regrets of not being close to his kids as he should. The Puerto Rican descent Artist acknowledged the sacrifices of his children and hopes that they would be proud of him for winning the award. 

Marc is singer, songwriter, actor, record producer and television producer born on September 16, 1968. He was named after Marco Antonio Muniz, a Mexican singer who was popular in Puerto Rico.

As reported by Usmagazine, his talent as a musician was seen early and though he had the singing voice, he needed to develop stage presence to support it. He started as a backup singer for Menudo and the Latin Rascals, and later became a headline when his style changed into to a more Spanish-based sound.

The two-time Grammy and Latin Grammy Award winner who is known for his Latin salsa ballads, has sold more than 12 million albums worldwide.  His achievements have been appreciated through various recognitions and on September 2009 he was awarded Chair's Lifetime Achievement Award. Marc Anthony's music career has become a great source of inspiration for young artists who would like to do his kind of music in future.
