The latest update for "Tekken 7" underscores the attempt to revisit the plan for the aforementioned crossover. But Bandai Namco kicks it up the notch by elevating a key Street Fighter character as a crucial player in the "Tekken" narrative.
Who is Akuma in the "Tekken" storyline?
The infamous Street Fighter nemesis, Akuma, squares off with the iconic Tekken patriarch Heihachi Mishima. A report published by Yibada reveals how Akuma got mixed up in the internal family feud at its primordial stages by allying with the Mishima matriarch Kazumi, hence battling her detested husband (Heihachi) and son (Kazuya).
As if one forebear of the Devil Gene was not enough, the creators tossed Street Fighter's notorious demon into the incendiary mix. The result: an explosive showdown featured in one of the latest "Tekken 7" tweets.

An article published by the Christian Times reveals that the February 2017 release date will also include PC version. It is believed that strictly limiting the game in console platforms would not optimize its full market potential.
