Steam Black Friday, Best Deals & Update: Autumn Sale Live Until The 29th; Grab 'The Witcher,' 'Tomb Raider' And More For Less!

Steam's Black Friday Sale is evidently one of the most awaited sales of the year for PC gamers. This year, Steam has 13,457 games on sale, mouthwatering price slashes virtually anywhere, wallets are popping open and piggy banks are getting smashed. 

Steam's Black Friday sale slash Autumn sale is now live and will run until the 29th of November, giving players enough time to decide on which games will fill their shopping carts. Other than game titles, the DLCs are also on sale, further fanning the flames of excitement in the hearts of fans. 

According to GameSpot, Steam is already taking nominations Steam's first-ever Steam Awards in December. There are a variety of unusual categories to nominate your favorite game for. Including "Whoa. Dude," "The Villain Most In Need Of A Hug" and "I'm Not Crying. There's Something In My Eye." Definitely a catchy, yet an unusual set of awards lined up for the 2016 Steam Awards.

Players who participate in the nomination will be rewarded with a special Steam badge. The said badge can gain levels and each increase will grace the player with Steam XP. The nomination period will end at the same time the Black Friday Sale ends on Tuesday the 29th. 

In a report by Wired, the Steam Black Friday Sale is not limited to digital merchandise. Players can also purchase gaming gear that are on sale this season such as the Steam Link that has its price slashed by 60 percent. Another is the Steam Controller that is down 30 percent. 

With the whopping amount of game titles currently on sale, where do you start? It is worth mentioning that the most popular games of the year are also on sale, and it would be best to check those out first. "Grand Theft Auto V," "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt," "Far Cry Primal," Tom Clancy's The Division," "Rise of The Tomb Raider,"  "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided," and "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege" all have their prices slashed by 50 percent.

While a bigger discount is available for titles such as "Doom," "Fallout 4" and "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" whose prices are down by 67 percent.
