Reports say Sebastian Stan who played the role of Bucky Barnes will take on the role of Captain America in "Avenger Infinity War". On November 29,Stan posted a picture of him holding a Captain America shield in a winter soldier design.
In August,Sebastian Stan was announced to be reprising his role as Bucky Barnes in'Infinity War".Stan posted on Instagram a picture of him carrying a different captain America shield with Soviet star right at its center.The said shield is in a winter soldier's theme.
In his post,Stan wrote "Excuse me...where's the restroom? Will come in handy ..." with hashtags #wintersoldier and #marvel. Could this be a hint?
Both the Winter Solider and Falcon assumed the role of Captain America in the comic books,however,many believe Bucky Barnes will take on the role.In the last scenes of "Captain America: Civil War',we saw Steve Rogers put down his shield but we never saw him pick it up again.
A few months ago,The Huffington Post interviewed the Russo Brothers.They confirmed that Steve Rogers won't be Captain America in "Avengers:Infinity War".
"I think him dropping that shield is him letting go of that identity. [It's] him admitting that certainly the identity of was in conflict with the very personal choice that he was making."Joe Russo said.But not to worry because we will still be seeing Steve Rogers on Infinity War.
According to Parent Herald,the role of Steve rogers could die, Iron Man will fall out, and Loki will team up with Thanos to take on the world.Avengers: Infinity War will be directed by the Russo Brothers,Joe and Anthony Russo,screenplay by Christopher Marcus and Stephen Mcfeely.
Filming will begin in January 2017 at Pinewood Atlanta Studios in Georgia.There will be more or less 67 characters including all the previously Marvel Cinematic Universal (MCU) casts.Joe Russo said that "the Marvel universe will unite to battle the greatest threat to the world and universe that you've ever seen".
