"Insidious", one of the most successful horror films in and out of America, is set to return for its latest chapter entitled "Insidious: Chapter 4". The production of the hit thriller has been already underway as confirmed the movie's director Adam Robitel, and story writer and actress, Leigh Whannell.
According to a report by Game N Guide, the story of how the next instalment of "Insidious" will go still remains a mystery to all as no specifics are divulged by the production team. However, it is rest assured that some of the scenarios from the movie's previous chapters will be featured on "Insidious: Chapter 4".
Elise Rainer, played by Lin Shaye, has been a main character in the Insidious series after her appearance in all of the three previous series in spite of her unexpected death in the end of Insidious. Shaye has even got her very own spin-off in the third chapter of Insidious. Hence, the return of her demonologist is already confirmed in the upcoming "Insidious: Chapter 4" which is also set to be Rainer's prequel, as well.
According to Cinema Blend, the storyline of "Insidious: Chapter 4" will draw a line between Insidious' original movie. It will also make the fans understand the reasons towards the character of Elise Rainer who is also known as the queen of scream.
In an interview, Insidious' filmmaker confirmed that he is still figuring out what scenarios from the previous chapters of the American horror movie will he adopt for "Insidious: Chapter 4" but he is likely to discover the period with the first Insidious film to the next. He also thinks that it would be interesting if the storyline of the latest movie will follow the characters of Rainer, Tucker (played by Angus Sampson) and Specs (played by Leigh Whannell) from "Insidious: Chapter 3's" finale.
