It was all big smiles, rocking denim outfits and a wagging tail when Ian Somerhalder and wife Nikki Reed landed at LAX after their big birthday getaway celebrating the actor's 38th year. "Twilight" star Nikki Reed and wife to Ian Somerhalder, shared a warm birthday wish for her "better half" via social media to which Ian had a sweet reply to. The couple proves that marital problems are far from taking over their relationship as husband and wife, slamming divorce rumors.
"This is, the sweetest birthday note any man could ever get from his wife. Nikki Reed thank you my human. My heart is so full with your words and their meaning. I love you. Thank you for making this the... Best. Birthday. Ever,"
According to Daily Mail, the on-screen vampires arrived at LAX with luggage and Reed's German Shepherd, Ira who she had with ex-husband Paul McDonald. Despite the many questioning brows raised when Reed filed for divorce from McDonald only a few months before openly dating Ian Somerhalder, the couple seems to be doing fine. Reed and Somerhalder have no plans to start a family as of yet, however, they do have four dogs and three cats, plus two horses.
Fans of Ian Somerhalder and ex-girlfriend Nina Dobrev seem to be far from accepting that Ian is now happily married to someone else. The trio consisting of Ian Somerhalder, Nikki Reed, and Nina Dobrev have been the target of numerous rumors regarding marital issues as pre iTechPost.
