Job Openings: BT Opens 500 Customer Service Jobs in UK; Other Jobs People Can Apply In The US

For unemployed people looking for jobs, there is good news for you. BT is opening 500 customer service jobs in England and Wales.

This will provide a contact center to Swansea, Warrington, Doncaster and Accrington. In January, BT opened 1,000 customer service jobs for its customer calls in UK and Ireland.

According to BBC, the recruitment process will start this December. Managing Director Libby Barr reported that the company is changing customer service to boost their service levels.

Barr explained that hiring 500 extra customer service representatives will allow the company to answer 90 percent of customer calls from Ireland and UK by the end of March. He said that they are proud to create new jobs in UK and Ireland.

The Guardian reported that they also offer a referral fee of £500. The site stressed that the company is also open for agency advisers who wants to directly work with the company.

BT or BT Group is a holding company that is owned by the British Telelcommunications plc. It is a multinational telecommunication service company that can be found in London, United Kingdom. It is available in 180 countries, a report claim.

In America, there are a lot of jobs one can apply like therapist, rehabilitation nurse, nurse anesthetics, nurse practitioners and nurse midwives. Jobs & Hire reported that the median pay for a therapy assistant is $54,520 per year.

A physical therapy assistant received $42,980, while, a physical therapist receives $84,020. The site stressed that the nurse anesthetics, nurse practitioners and nurse midwives usually get a median salary of 104,740 per year. While, a rehabilitation nurse gets an annual salary of $65,470.

One could also apply as wind turbine technician. According to the site, US Department of Energy believes that this industry will grow in 2017.
