‘Dragon Ball Super’: New Arc ‘Universe Survival’ Plot & Release Date Revealed! Multiverse Tournament Going To Take Place?

After "Dragon Ball Super" debuted last year, fans have been long awaiting the continuation of its saga. In this upcoming February 5, 2017, a new arc is to be released entitled “Universe Survival.”

Kazenshu reported that the next week’s issue of Shonen Jump will feature what we can expect from the next "Dragon Ball Z Super." The magazine promo included Goku, Vegeta, Krillin, Gohan, Master Roshi, Androids 17 & 18, and even Majin Buu. Fans have been wondering what threats our heroes will face in this upcoming arc. Judging from the image, it depicts Goku and the Universe 7 characters form a team to take on a tournament.

Todd Blankenship @Herms98, is a legit and dependable source for "Dragon Ball Super." He revealed on his Twitter that the new saga will feature a multiverse Tournament that will have Universe 7 form a team with 10 members. Having the magazine captioned “Universe 7’s strongest team take the field!” he translated. The image mentioned “team battles” and tournament so it was made that it would seem to mark the end of some universe getting wiped out.

Meanwhile, Blasting News speculated that if Universe 7 fails in the Multiverse Tournament, its universe could also be destroyed. That if the 12 universe participates, chances are fans would see 120 more characters besides the 10 from Universe 7 that we know about. 120 characters become 105 if universe 6 participates because of their 5 known members already.

The most surprising appearance would be Android 17, whom fans haven’t seen for a long time already. It was also confirmed that he will partake in the role of a ranger judging from the bracelet he is wearing in the image.

Fans couldn’t handle their excitement in hopes for what "Dragon Ball Super: Universe Survival" would bring about. So while waiting for the release of the saga, you can check the spoiler on the arc which Goku could be in danger here on Jobs and Hire.
