Daniel Craig ‘James Bond’: ‘Spectre’ Actor Worry Producers Re: His Indecision As Release Date Approaches

Daniel Craig is giving franchise producers sleepless nights now that the release date of the 25th installments has been set. Barbara Brocolli has already conducted auditions for the Daniel Craig "James Bond" role but no actor passed her criteria.

He has several 007 films to his name: "Spectre," "Casino Royale," "Skyfall," and "Quantum of Solace" to name a few. If he decides to do the role one more time, it will be a 2018 block buster hit.  All he has to do to say yes to Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Brocolli who are aching to hear a word from him.

The producers have set the release date which is October 2018 but no actor has inked a movie contract yet. One more repercussion if Daniel Craig firmly says no to the film, Sony Pictures co-financing will not push through. They expect Craig to be the lead actor again as per Inquisitr.

Daniel Craig has stated months back that will no longer do a "James Bond" role. He said that he has spent most of his best years in the industry doing the franchise. The "Dream House" actor decided to try other roles.

Has the actor reached a point where he thinks that he is no longer capable of doing the breath-taking stunts? In "Spectre," he suffered a knee injury and might not want to risk again.

Several actors have auditioned for the role - Aidan Turner, Tom Hiddleston, Theo James, and Idris Elba but no one got the nod of Barbara Brocolli. Daniel Craig and the other actors who have played the role have colorful careers because of their participation in the franchise. Sean Connery, Pierce Brosnan, Timothy Dalton and Roger Moore were respected actors because of their 007 roles.

Daniel Craig "James Bond" role might be the next thing to watch, that is, if the actor says yes. For the meantime, stay tuned for celebrity news.
